Remote, but charming. Hire a car.

Aspectos positivos: Lovely to be met personally by José, and his mother. A nice touch, especially as we had gotten lost (wrong turning on roundabout) on the way. A fantastic spot if one is looking for a remote location. Some interesting walks [the lighthouse/faro] nearby. But having a car is essential. This wasn't made clear to me til a day or two before arrival.

Aspectos negativos: The fact that ALL the restaurants locally were closed, and the local shop (charming in an early 70's way) offered a limited offering. Without a car one would have to rely on an infrequent bus to Sardina. When on the road past Sardina nothing was very far. Our real disappointment was the fact that we suffered two separate Atlantic depressions while on Gran Canaria. Storms of a generation!

Calm and beautiful

Aspectos positivos: Very calm place, the appartement is nice, well-equipped. The terrace is amazing. The hosts are very kind.

Aspectos negativos: It would be nice to have the towels a little bit bigger, and a bit more dishwasher liquid and liquid soap. The location is nice, but be aware it is far from the island center, it took us 1h40 to get to Roque Nublo (one way). Same for the airport (1h minimum, plus the traffic is bad, be careful), south of the island (1h30-40). We did enjoy the sea view and calm, but had to drive a lot.

Aspectos positivos: A very beautiful view from the terrace; in January, you can enjoy the sunset. The owner is very friendly.

Aspectos negativos: A rather remote location; having a car is necessary. There are only a few beaches nearby. The internet connection is poor.

sehr schöne, ruhig gelegene Wohnung mit wunderbarem Meerblick

Aspectos positivos: Wunderschön gelegen, mit fantastischem Meerblick, sehr ruhig.

Aspectos negativos: Der Name Ocean Breeze Faro Sardina war nirgends ausgewiesen; wir mussten uns durchfragen und haben die Wohnung eher durch Zufall entdeckt.
