Magnificent Views. A good base to explore the island
Aspectos positivos: Really nice well equipped cottage, with exceptional views over the mountains. Quiet location on the edge of Santa Lucia, and only a 10 minute walk to the shops and cafes

A very pleasant and restful location for a week of walking in the mountains.
Aspectos positivos: Santa Lucia de Tirajana is a good location for exploring the centre of the island. it takes about half an hour to get down to the coast road but then it is quite fast to get to Maspalomas on the south coast. La Casa Nueva is conveniently situated about 15 minutes walk from the center where there are a couple of small supermarkets (one obviously providing for the local population and the other aimed at us tourists.) There are numerous mountain tracks and paths in the surrounding hills which we made good use of returning in the evening to a swim in the pool. The apartment is well fitted out, the kitchen provided everything we needed to cater for ourselves, the bed was comfortable and the shower is one of the best I have ever used. We ate all our meals on the terrace enjoying the views of the mountains. We would happily return.

Herzliche Aussicht für Massentourismus-Flüchtige
Aspectos positivos: Vincente ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er war stets hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns das bequeme Bett und der Kamin. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf die Berge und Santa Lucía sind unglaublich
Aspectos negativos: In Schlafzimmer und Bad fehlen ein paar Wandhaken. Eine Wohnzimmerwand hinter dem Kamin bräuchte mal wieder ein Update

Aspectos positivos: Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super, da man von dort super wandern oder Rad fahren kann. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein großes bequemes Bett. Das Badezimmer ist klein, aber für 2 Personen völlig ausreichend. Die Terrasse ist super schön und lädt zum draußen sitzen ein. Von dort hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Berge ☺️ Außerdem gibt es einen Pool, der toll angelegt ist und zum Sonnenbaden einlädt. Der Vermieter Vicente hat immer sofort bei Fragen reagiert, aber ich hätte es schöner gefunden, wenn er uns zu Beginn etwas zum Apartment und dem Pool etc.erzählt und uns noch ein paar Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben hätte. Mir persönlich hat ein bisschen der persönliche Kontakt (unabhängig von WhatsApp) gefehlt, da der Vermieter ja direkt nebenan wohnt.
Aspectos negativos: In der Unterkunft könnten direkt ein Besen und Handfeger sein bzw.ein Hinweis , dass dieser sich im Schrank draußen befindet. Ansonsten war alles super ☺️

Ein gemütliches kleines Häuschen mit schöner Terasse
Aspectos positivos: Das Apartment liegt sehr schön mit Blick auf Santa Lucia und ist mit allem Grundlegendem ausgestattet. Es gab zur Begrüßung Obst und eine Flasche Wasser. Außerdem hatte es einen Kaminofen, den wir abends genutzt haben. Vicente ist ein guter Gastgeber, war immer ansprechbar und hat uns Holz etc. gebracht.
Aspectos negativos: Leider hatte die Toilette ein Leck und es trat Wasser aus. Eine Reparatur war nicht möglich.

Aspectos positivos: Het terras het en het uitzicht en de rust was fantastisch.
Aspectos negativos: Jammer was dat het zwembad koud was en de host geen contact maakte. Het bed had iets breder mogen zijn.

A peaceful mountain hideaway
Aspectos positivos: Incredible rural location, especially for hikers. Amazing mountain views from the balcony. The apartment is very modern, clean and tastefully decorated. The pool area and gardens were also very clean and maintained (albeit freezing) but it wasn't signposted or easy to find so sadly we only found this halfway into our stay. The air fryer in the kitchen was much appreciated and helpful. There's a couple of bakeries and 3 restaurants in the village nearby, but having a hire car is essential if you want to explore or get to the coast (45 mins away in Maspalomas). We spent new years eve at the apartment and there were fireworks visible in the village below. Very friendly local cats!
Aspectos negativos: The bedroom has a large step with sharp edges which was a big trip hazard on a few occasions. This could be adjusted. A brush would also be helpful so we could clean up after ourselves.

Schöne moderne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Pool
Aspectos positivos: Ein wirklich schönes, modernes, sauberes Apartment mit allem, was man braucht und darüber hinaus. Es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine und einen Air Fryer. Es ist alles sehr gepflegt und neu. Vicente hat uns auch spät abends noch nett in Empfang genommen, er hatte uns sogar eine Flasche Wein geschenkt. Das absolute Highlight waren der Pool und die private Terrasse mit einer spektakulären Aussicht. Der Pool steht noch einem anderen Apartment zur Verfügung, aber wir hatten ihn die meiste Zeit für uns alleine. Ins Dorf Santa Lucía braucht man so 5-10min zu Fuß, dort sind ein Supermarkt und ein paar Bars/Restaurants. Wer Ruhe sucht und nicht direkt im Trubel sein möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Allerdings muss man natürlich Serpentinen und etwas Fahrzeit in Kauf nehmen, um zum Strand oder weiter ins Inland zu kommen. Das weiß man aber vorher. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!
